Dianne Glover, MPH
Owner/ PeakLife Wellness
Publisher, PeakLife SA Magazine and Certified Wellness Coach
Wellness is more encompassing than reaching a certain weight or incorporating an exercise plan; it is about creating a multi-dimensional balance of all of the dynamics that affect health and happiness. Dianne passionately believes in helping people proactively take charge of their stress, nutrition and fitness to find balance amidst the often chaotic framework of our lives.
Dianne worked as an actress on stage and television for nearly twenty years. During this time, she became a certified aerobics instructor to learn more about health and fitness. This transitioned to a career in healthcare communications. Dianne's passion for promoting proactive healthcare sent her to graduate school in public health at UCLA. At that time, the vision of PeakLife Wellness germinated and took root.
After moving to San Antonio in 2010, Dianne learned that it was one of the least healthy cities in the US, and she vowed to play an active part role in changing that paradigm. She started PeakLife SA Magazine to educate and inspire locals to make healthy changes. Dianne refers to the publication as "her love letter to San Antonio." In recognition of her efforts, San Antonio's Mayor Julian Castro appointed her to the Mayor's Fitness Council in 2011. She is happy to serve the community and work with others to transform the city to one of the healthiest in the country.
